A brief before every client meeting, and what comes next

Before you meet a client, you want to know where things stand: what you discussed last time, what is still missing, which deadlines are close. Bertha now writes that brief for you, at the top of each client's file, from your meetings, the inbox, the deadlines and the figures. It is written by fixed rules, so you can see where every line comes from.

Some smaller things this fortnight:

• A guided tour. Ten stops, one per screen, saying what each does and why it matters. It starts at the end of setup, or from Help.
• European typefaces. Bertha's screens and documents now use openly licensed European typefaces.
• One front page. The morning briefing and the day's work are on one page, arranged the way each person likes.

What comes next. AdminPulse has said it will stop in the Netherlands at the end of 2027, and Dutch firms are choosing what to move to. Our aim is to be ready for that move by summer 2027: an importer you can rehearse, check and roll back before anything changes. We will write about it as it is built, and only claim what works.
