On-premise AI for accounting firms: private AI without the cloud
Can an accounting firm use AI without sending client data to the cloud? Yes: the AI runs on a machine in your own office.
Yes, an accounting firm can use AI without sending client data to the cloud. The AI runs on a computer installed in your own office, so client files, bank statements and returns are processed there and never leave the building.
That is what Leyoda builds. Bertha is a private AI system for accounting and bookkeeping firms, installed on a machine in your office and maintained by us.
What it does
- Prepares VAT returns, every figure linked to the invoices behind it.
- Reads what clients send and requests missing documents, the reminder ready to send.
- Matches bank transactions to invoices, with the reason for each match.
- Writes up client meetings and prepares a brief before the next one.
A person approves every step before anything is booked, sent or filed, and every action is recorded with a name and a time.
Why on-premise matters for accountants
- Professional secrecy. Client data stays in the office, so there is no outside processor to explain to clients or regulators.
- GDPR. No transfer of personal data outside the EU, and nothing new to add to your register of processors.
- The EU AI Act. You can show which system did what, on which data, and who approved it.
- Control. Every connection the machine makes is logged and can be seen. For client work, the count of outgoing requests is zero.
What it costs
One monthly rate covers the machine, installation, maintenance and support. For a firm of up to seven people it is €1,250 to €1,500 a month, depending on the length of the agreement; larger firms get a second machine. Every project starts with a paid Discovery, which ends in a written report that is yours. See pricing.
Where it is available
Leyoda serves firms in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark and Sweden. Other countries can join the waiting list.
